Role Overview
RJAH is lucky to have a number of green spaces located around the hospital, providing beautiful and tranquil areas for patients, staff and volunteers to take a break. Gardening volunteers help to maintain and improve these outdoor spaces.
Main Tasks
- Help care for a variety of gardens and outdoor areas
- Assist with planting, weeding, pruning, and general upkeep
- Work alongside fellow volunteers and enjoy fresh air and exercise
- Contribute to a welcoming and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and staff
